Greenville Majors Baseball Club
The newly formed Majors baseball club is getting ready for some baseball!!  The GYSA, YMCA & Greenville Parks & Rec have taken the next step for Greenville Baseball.  We held a tryout on Sunday January 30th at the sports complex, we were hoping to form a team for ages 8u, 10u, 12u, and 14u, we were extremely pleased to have around seventy kids show up for the tryout. We were able to form a 10u, 12u, & 14u team taking the top 12 players in each age group, this is very exciting!! The coach pitch team will be playing in some tournaments here locally and hopefully some post season action.  These teams will be playing in a newly formed select league that includes Rockwall, Rowlett, Garland, Sachse, Royse City, Greenville, Caddo mills, & Lone Oak.  This league is for competitive teams only.  In helping promote YMCA baseball all of our players will be joining the YMCA league also and the YMCA will be reformatting their league with a new draft system.  If you would like more information please contact us, and check back the first of March for a schedule!!
